The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHiME) is an executive organization dedicated to serving chief information officers (CIOs), chief medical information officers (CMIOs), chief nursing information officers (CNIOs) and other senior healthcare IT leaders.

CHiME offers the Information Management Executive series twice per year, which extended though the end of the decade and graduated nearly 1,000 participants
In CHiME’s first year, 192 CIOs became charter members under the guidance of the founding chair, John Glaser, PhD
CHiME staff initially provided by Center for Healthcare Information Management (CHIM); transitioned to a contract for services with former CHIME staff employed by Association Management Group (AMG) in Ann Arbor, MI
CHiME Foundation formed as an independent, non-profit corporate membership organization; Board of CIOs and Corporate Reps, also members of CHiME Board
CHiME establishes formal collaboration agreement with HIMSS
CHiME launches the Healthcare CIO Boot Camp™ program
CHiME membership reaches 1,000 members
CHIME establishes the CHIME Education Foundation to expand its scholarship support to CHIME members and their direct reports
