
Abhinav “Abhi” Rastogi, MBA, MIS is President and Chief Executive Officer of Temple
University Hospital Inc. (TUH), one of the Philadelphia region’s most respected academic
medical centers and the chief clinical training site for Temple University’s Lewis Katz School of
Medicine.
An 890-bed non-profit acute care hospital, TUH Inc. includes a flagship campus in North
Philadelphia adjacent to LKSOM, a Jeanes Campus in Northeast Philadelphia, and Episcopal and
Northeastern campuses located within three miles of the main and medical school campus.
TUH provides a broad spectrum of primary, secondary, tertiary, and quaternary care to patients
throughout the tri-state area and beyond. It is accredited as an Adult Level 1 Trauma Center by
the Pennsylvania Trauma Systems Foundation and is a Regional Burn Center.
Mr. Rastogi is also Executive Vice President of Temple University Health System, working closely
with Health System, Hospital, and Medical Staff leadership to invest in medical services and
technologies that advance TUH’s long-range goals and plans, in concert with Temple University
and Temple’s healthcare enterprise.
He has over 20 years of experience in business transformation and creating profitable service
delivery programs. He has a strong background in leading and growing clinical service lines and
was instrumental in the growth of the Temple Lung Transplant program to the top volume
program in the country. In addition, he oversees Solid Organ Transplants, Cardiology,
Neurology, Gastroenterology, Lab, Pharmacy and Supply Chain service lines. His strong focus on
Supply Chain operations has contributed to over $10M savings annually and has presented
supply chain efficiency opportunities at several national conferences.
Mr. Rastogi earned his MBA/MIS degree from Temple University’s Fox School of Business and
Management, and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Mumbai University. He is a Lean Six
Sigma Black Belt, and holds a certificate in IS/IT Project Management.
